Sailing Club Charter Sunday, August 17 11 am - 6 pm | $105 per person New and seasoned sailors are all welcome. Strict 72 hour cancellation policy enforced Come join us for fun on the water, as we sail the beautiful waters of San Diego. This is an excellent opportunity to see the city and surrounding landscape like never before. This event is intended to be social and introduce folks to the sailing world. Current availability is 12 passengers, so availability is limited, and reservations fill fast! 72 hour cancellation policy strictly enforced. The crew will meet at Seaforth Boat Rental the day of the event 1715 Strand Way, Coronado, CA 92118 Parking available in Seaforth Parking lot as well as on the street. Please arrive 15-20 minutes before the scheduled event time to sign Seaforth Sailboats has a large parking lot for us to use, but carpooling or Uber is encouraged. Please bring with you a jacket, water, sunscreen, and great energy! There is a deli/cafe at the marina that sells food and beverage. If you have any questions, please contact David Dura 773-410-7833

Book Club Complimentary to Attend Embark on a captivating journey into the world of words and stories with fellow book lovers who share your passion for the written page. Engage with fellow book enthusiasts, students, and scholars alike, fostering a vibrant intellectual community within the University Club. May 2025 Why Fish Don’t Exist by Lulu Miller. Non-fiction. The book follows David Starr Jordan, a taxonomist, at end of the 18th and start of the 19th century. He collected many samples. He is responsible for naming a fifth of the fish species. Upon writing and researching NPR reported Lulu Miller gleaned insights about history, persistence, and the order of life.
